1. Infrastructure
1.1 Cross-chain
Last week, we welcomed a new ecosystem partner, MyCrypto. MyCrypto will be one of the newly launched Force Bridge operators, which connects Nervos to Ethereum.
Also, last week, the Force Bridge UI/UX design competition entered the community voting stage, and you can find several shortlisted works on Youtube. Vote for your top favorite UI/UX design for Nervos' Force Bridge
Event period: Nov 12th - Nov 19th 2021
See the designs and start voting:
1.2 Layer 2
Godwoken is a Layer2 solution that includes Polyjuice's EVM compatibility layer + Roll-up expansion. The team announced on November 4 the official launch of the beta version on the Nervos CKB mainnet and the whitelist for developers to join the beta.
Godwoken Layer 2 ensures high throughput and security. Combined with its Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) support, it enables developers to employ Ethereum contracts while keeping transactions scalable, fast, and low-cost.
For more information about the capabilities of Godwoken, please visit https://www.nervos.org/blog/nervos-launches-godwoken-mainnet-beta.
Since the whitelist was opened, many projects have applied to join Godwoken's whitelist. As seen on Nervos Twitter, these projects shall be featured in an orderly manner in the future.
As of the time of writing, we have already announced the following partners:
DIA(https://www.diadata.org/)
DIA (Decentralised Information Asset) will provide reliable oracle services for dApps building on Godwoken or porting over from Ethereum as we continue to build out our ecosystem for existing and emerging DeFi projects.
SuperLauncher (https://superlauncher.io/)
SuperLauncher will provide early-stage funding opportunities for projects on Nervos such as YokaiSwap and build a DEX on Godwoken to provide liquidity mining products.
1.3 Mercury
The bottom layer of CKB is very flexible and allows any contract to do “lock.” With this in mind, another question is brought to Dapp developers: How should the Dapp adapt to these different locks? For each dapp, the dev has to consider whether they should adjust to single signatures, Portal Wallet, UniPass, etc. For the identity service providers, such as a wallet, devs must also consider whether they need to adapt to Mibao, the Nervos DAO, and eventually more dapps. The million dollars question is actually: How to match the dapp and identities? Mercury aims to solve this problem.
How does Mercury work?
The essence of Mercury is to abstract the differences between the different locks implicit in the address. It provides the abstraction after the lock differences are stripped, and each identity service provider provides a standard interface for them to develop based on it. It mainly provides some convenient interfaces for developers, including functions such as querying CKB/UDT balance, initiating CKB/UDT transfer, querying transaction history, and so on.
Mercury will first support all locks made by CKB core and some locks from the community (such as the pw-lock). If other teams have designed their own locks, they are also welcome to add them to Mercury. Mercury’s mission is that all wallets, exchanges, mining pools, and Dapps in the ecosystem interact with Mercury instead of dealing directly with CKB directly and raw.
Mercury has already deployed a beta version and plans to release the official version in early December. Although it is a test version, Mercury beta is on both the mainnet and testnet. The reason it is still a beta is due to the instability of the current interface. Although there is still some room for optimization, the current beta should be enough for the developers to play and test:

1.4 Stablecoin
Details about TAI and dCKB:
NexisDAO is the equivalent of the "Maker DAO'' on the Nervos ecosystem. Users can mint TAI - a USD pegged stablecoin, by overcollateralizing crypto assets and exchanging TAI for safe-haven assets or stake it to gain liquidity for increased returns. TAI can also be transferred freely or traded, used as a means of payment for goods and services, or as a store of value as any other stablecoin.
NexisDAO has no thresholds and is fully decentralized. At the moment, it only supports CKB as a collateral asset. However, DAO members will be able to add other assets too, if consensus is reached.
1.5 Partnership with BitKeep
Last week, the BitKeep Wallet announced that it now supports the Nervos mainnet. CKB users can use BitKeep to store assets and access BitKeep projects on Nervos in the future.
2. Ecosystem
2.1 NFT
2.1.1 Mibao
The first "Metaverse Concept Art Competition" co-sponsored by the Nervos NFT platform mibao.net, Digital Compound, and the School of Media and Animation of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts officially kicked off on November 10, 2021. The objective of this competition is to discover and encourage concept art creators, to serve as a bridge between conceptual art and crypto art artists, and to create an international and professional crypto art platform.

Mibao and Cyber Journey to the West co-hosted an AMA session called "A Guide to the Metaverse" on November 12th. The host of this AMA was Guo Cheng, the co-founder of Digital Compounds, and guests include Mibao/Nervina Labs founder Cipher, Yiou President Wang Bin, Cyber Digital Lab co-founder Xu Juan, the artist Jiu Fan, and Guofeng art creator Xiao Wenbo.
2.1.2 Kollect.me
Last week, the Kollect.me platform added support for CKB withdrawals. After users sell their NFT, they can withdraw the assets to their wallets directly.
Kollect.me is the first NFT trading platform that supports the issuance of NFTs on Nervos Layer 1. It is similar to OpenSea, and you can log in with a registered account via UniPass and obtain your CKB address, then mint an NFT.
Transaction fees on kollect.me are almost inexistent. It uses the technical capabilities provided by UniPass to allow Internet users to enter the blockchain world with almost no barriers.
2.2 UniPass
After a week of internal testing, the main features of UniPass ID are now stable, and the time of release is getting closer and closer. To make the upcoming public beta more interesting, the UniPass team has designed a special scene for everyone to experience the new dapp. Stay tuned!

2.3 DAS
DAS is a decentralized account system on Nervos launched on July 22, 2021. Since its launch on July 22, the team has focused on the product and the ecosystem, and significant progress has been made.
Last week, due to the effects of the ENS airdrop, the domain name projects were extremely hot. Many have missed the ENS airdrop and they are looking for the next opportunity, which may be right in from of your eyes.
Ecosystem
Wallets: Huobi Wallet, imToken, TokenPocket, AlphaWallet, BitKeep, Hyperpay, and more.
Integrations: Mibao, NFTGO , NFTSCAN.
Registration service: Dename.com.
We believe that, in the domains field, DAS is currently the strongest project besides ENS. The demand for DAS's .bit account is also increasing steadily every week. According to the data provided by das.la, we can see that in the last week, the number of new DAS accounts is growing at a rate of over a 1,000 accounts per day
DAS currently has 35% of 5-9 characters accounts open, and all accounts with 10 or more digits.
We recommend registering through das.la, a tool developed by the DAS community.
In the future, das.la will add some SocialFi features.
In addition, last week DAS also officially announced the DAS DAO Union and hosted its first Union meeting on Discord.
2.4 YokaiSwap
YokaiSwap is the first Layer 2 DEX on Nervos Network. With the launch of Godwoken, the infrastructure that YokaiSwap relies on, Yokai is ready for the upcoming plans. YokaiSwap is currently working intensively on preparation works before going live:
Yokai is built on Godwoken, a high-performance permissionless framework for Layer 2 Rollup. Yokai's smart contracts use Solidity, the same language as Ethereum Dapps, and provide a fully compatible contract through Polyjoice, one of the core components of Nervos Interoperability 2.0. This means that all Ethereum-based Dapps can connect to Nervos Layer 2 at almost zero cost.
Yokai is one of the first projects funded by InNervation, an ecological fund jointly created by CMB International and Nervos. Currently, Yokai’s code is completely open-source.

2.5 Games
2.5.1 Celebrity Smack Down (CSD)
Last week, CSD opened the whitelist for the pre-sale of CSD cards. Those who joined the CSD Discord server and successfully registered in the whitelist could buy cards; some have drawn legendary and rare cards, so lucky!
Celebrity Smack Down is the first NFT card game built on top of the Nervos blockchain. CSD also serves as a research project to further community knowledge of NFTs on the Nervos blockchain ( known as mNFTs) and serves as a trailblazer for NFT games on the Nervos blockchain.
The CSD’s NFT cards are linked to the Twitter account of each celebrity. These NFTs change their ability levels and other characteristics based on the number of fans that the particular celebrities have, thereby affecting their utility in the game. This is a special and unique feature of Nervos’ NFT. We think this is the first step of NFT 2.0, allowing NFT to link external data and change its attributes based on it. The mNFT protocol is also under continuous development.

2.5.2 Hunting NFT
HuntingNFT is a play-to-earn project initiated by the Nervos community and has completed a preliminary verification of the economic model. Based on feedback from the internal beta testers, closed development iterations on gameplay, interaction, and UI will be carried out soon, and the team plans to roll out a beta version around the end of November.
At time of the publication of this newspaper, it will already be Lina’s second birthday! Happy birthday Lina!
