Mercury’s official version was released in early December, and Opera and MEXC are working on integrating and testing. At the same time, the team is also contacting relevant people in the community to invite them to become core nodes, indexer nodes, and Mercury nodes.
The bottom layer of CKB is very flexible and allows any contract to do “lock.” With this in mind, another question is brought to Dapp developers: How should the Dapp adapt to these different locks? For each dapp, the dev has to consider whether they should adjust to single signatures, Portal Wallet, UniPass, etc. For the identity service providers, such as a wallet, devs must also consider whether they need to adapt to Mibao, the Nervos DAO, and eventually more dapps. The million dollars question is actually: How to match the dapp and identities? Mercury aims to solve this problem.
How does Mercury work?
The essence of Mercury is to abstract the differences between the different locks implicit in the address. It provides the abstraction after the lock differences are stripped, and each identity service provider provides a standard interface for them to develop based on it. It mainly provides some convenient interfaces for developers, including functions such as querying CKB/UDT balance, initiating CKB/UDT transfer, querying transaction history, and so on.
Mercury’s mission is that all wallets, exchanges, mining pools, and Dapps in the ecosystem interact with Mercury instead of dealing directly with CKB directly. Mercury will first support all locks made by CKB core and some locks from the community (such as the pw-lock). If other teams have designed their own locks, they are also welcome to add them to Mercury.

1.4 Hashrate
In the past 20 days, the Nervos network hashrate has remained at about 130 P. The increment in total hashrate makes the CKB network more secure, and once more applications are launched, the demand for CKB will never stop increasing. YokaiSwap, for example, has nearly 3.1 billion (+0.3 billion) CKB locked in its liquidity mining pools.
With the current hashrate, miners are mining around 84 CKB per T, which is 4 CKB/T more than last week.

Hashrate refers to how much computing power is being used by a network to process transactions. It can help investors gauge the health and security of a cryptocurrency’s network. The hashrate is an important measure of how decentralized a cryptocurrency’s proof of work network may be against hackers. That’s because the higher a hashrate is, the more complex and costly it is for someone to attack the network.
Since Nervos’ mainnet launch November 16, 2019, the total hashrate Of the Nervos network has grown from 0.073 P to 140 P+, an increase of nearly 2,000 times.

Recently, UniPass has launched the UniPass ID levels, which are based on the ID score. UniPass will launch a campaign soon, with POAP badges airdrop to all LV 4 users.
UniPass ID score is dedicated to creating a real and credible score for each web3 user.
The base calculation rule of the ID score is the authenticity of the identity multiplied by the evaluation dimensions of the identity. Last week, CSD continued testing their ranking and Play to Earn systems and ran the fourth “weekend clash” to test new features.
Celebrity Smack Down is the first NFT card game built on top of the Nervos blockchain. CSD also serves as a research project to further community knowledge of NFTs on the Nervos blockchain ( known as mNFTs) and serves as a trailblazer for NFT games on the Nervos blockchain.
The CSD’s NFT cards are connected to the Twitter feed of each celebrity.
