1. Price action
2. Hashrate analysis
Last week, we saw a slight drop to 65.55 Petahashes (PH/s or P) in the total computing power of the CKB network, a decrease of 2.8 P from 68.37 P, which is a normal fluctuation.
To see a graphic of a longer cycle, we visited the Nervos Explorer. The trend of the network’s hashrate in the last 3 months is shown in the following figure:
3. Infrastructure
Layer2
Godwoken + Polyjuice's EVM compatibility layer + Rollup expansion Layer 2 solution has been running stably on the testnet for more than 50 days. The demand and stress test of this solution is currently mainly from and on Yokaiswap. Thanks to the Yokaiswap test procedures, we gathered a lot of feedback and optimized Godwoken accordingly to provide a good user experience for the apps deployed on Godwoken.
Last week, the YokaiSwap and the Nervos team were working on solving the problem of RPC call failures on the testnet when there is a large number of transactions. According to the feedback from the Yokai community beta testers, all problems encountered before have been resolved.
Development Framework
Kabletop: A turn-based blockchain game development framework based on CKB's state channel.
Kabletop can be built based on a variety of game engines. At the moment, only Godot is supported. Unity3D, Unreal, and CocosCreator will be added in the future. Thanks to the state channel technology, the usual data exchange can occur directly off-chain except when the channel is opened or closed, which improves the performance and user experience required for this kind of game.
Last week, Nervos’ developer Li Yukun introduced Kabletop's contract scripts (including NFT, Wallet, Payment, and the logic of running on-chain games), how to use tools such as CKB-SDK and Game-SDK, and also how to use Lua and GDScript to implement the core verification and presentation layer logic.
Kabletop’s current use cases include two-player turn-based battle games, including turn-based cards, tower defense, battle flags, strategy, and role-playing. In the future, it will be able to support multiplayer real-time battle games. During the presentation, we saw the prototype of GameFi on Nervos.

Stablecoins
NexisDAO main focus last week:
Most of the reported issues have been fixed, and tests are still in progress
Code optimization, abstract functions, etc.
Preparation work to participate in the hackathon project.
Note: the second round of internal testing of NexisDAO will end next week. We hope everyone will continue to participate actively and provide feedback and suggestions.
NexisDAO, in simple terms, is the equivalent of MakerDAO but on Nervos. Everybody can use the "Nexis Governance" module to stake assets as collateral, generate stablecoin TAI, and use it in the Nervos DeFi Ecosystem.

Protocol update
Last week, Nervos published Nervos Network Protocol Upgrade. There have been a few changes, and we would like to update you on where we are currently.

4. Ecosystem
CKB Weekly Paper will continue to follow up and report on the ecological projects that have been officially disclosed.
NFT
Mibao
Cyberpunk Lab and mibao have reached in-depth cooperation. The two parties will jointly use NFT as a new venue to help export Chinese traditional cultural classics so that the world knows more about Chinese cultural history.
As the first NFT platform on Nervos, Mibao is committed to connecting NFT and other blockchain technologies with the Internet world. This time, Mibao will provide underlying technical support for Cyberpunk Lab and support publishing the "Cyber Journey to the West" series of works on the Mibao platform so that more users experience the compliant and easy-to-use blockchain NFT.
On September 16, Joan, the design director of Cyber Digital Lab, visited the Nervina Lab live broadcast room and met Cipher, the founder of Mibao, and Guo Cheng, the co-founder of Digital Compound. They had an interesting discussion about the first Avatar in the Mibao Ecosystem, "72 Transformations".
Mibao secondary market
At the moment, Nervos does not have a dedicated secondary market NFT trading platform. However, a technical expert from the community developed a bot for trading Mibao assets in the secondary market, which can complete basic NFT trading operations. For the curious ones, here is a guide to Nerbot.

UniPass
Last week, the Leitu team participated in an internal meeting in Shanghai, nicknamed the "Wallet Introductory Conference" Almost all the wallet project parties in Hangzhou and Shanghai arrived. It was fascinating for everyone to introduce their progress and ask questions from their souls.
In addition, the integration plan of UniPass with Godwoken and Polyjuice has been finalized. After the official version of UniPass is released, the L2 integration work will begin (L2 and L1 are entirely different solutions and structures).
The founder of L2, Zhixian, realized that many only have a general concept of the "wallet" track, and they don’t know much about it. He is also planning to take some time to broadcast live in the community in the near future and introduce in deep what the wallets (or key managers) are doing, what is a smart contract wallet, and why he doesn't think that a simple wallet can become a real entrance.
DAS
DAS is a decentralized account system on Nervos. At present, Huobi Wallet, TokenPocket, and imToken have all completed the integration of DAS. All the users that update the wallet app version can now enter the recipient's DAS account during a transfer, and the corresponding address under the account will be automatically matched.
On September 16, 56 days after DAS’s official lunch, the number of registered accounts exceeded 10,000.
As of the publication of this paper, the number of DAS registered accounts was more than 16,000 due to an increase of more than 6,500 registrations in the last few days.
With the completion of the wallet integration processes, 35% of DAS accounts with 4~9 characters were open for registration on September 17 at 10:00 AM (UTC +8), and a large number of transactions caused the DAS keeper service to be stuck. As an anecdote, Ben tried to register a 9 letters account but got a "This account name is not yet open for registration" error. The chief architect of Nervos, Jan, recommended das.la to him and asked him to try it out, and solved Ben's issue.
Das.la is a DAS registration tool developed by the community. It has gradually become popular and has gained a good reputation in the community.

Also, DAS added a new registration platform last week, DeName, to open support for Alipay and enable those users who do not have digital currencies to register a DAS domain. Unlike the other two platforms, DeName is run in a centralized manner.
YokaiSwap
YokaiSwap is the first Layer 2 DEX on Nervos Network. It has been in beta for more than ten days, and important bugs have been fixed.
YokaiSwap, which is led by the community, adopts the AMM mechanism and will provide functions such as liquidity mining and staking.
Yokai is built on Godwoken, a high-performance permissionless framework for Layer 2 Rollup. Yokai's smart contracts use Solidity, the same language as Ethereum Dapps, and provide a fully compatible contract through Polyjoice, one of the core components of Nervos Interoperability 2.0. This means that all Ethereum-based Dapps can connect to Nervos Layer 2 at almost zero cost.
Yokai is one of the first projects funded by InNervation, an ecological fund jointly created by CMB International and Nervos. Currently, Yokai’s code is completely open-source.

Games
HuntingNFT is an experiment initiated by the Nervos NFT Hodlers community. It aims to use Nervos ecological infrastructure such as UniPass and mNFT, combined with gamification design, to explore possible games based on NFT.
HuntingNFT development status:
Determined the overall style and invited well-known UI designers in the industry to start with the design process.
Complete the first draft of the main story of the game and the first graphic drafts.
Completed the design and review of the second-phase functional module.
Next upgrade: implement and promote the main functions of the second phase, and improve the overall gameplay.
Hackathon
Nervos and Gitcoin jointly launched part 2 of Broaden the Spectrum, a 3-week virtual hackathon officially launched on September 10, featuring $150,000 in cash prizes.
Sponsors: ANKR, Coingecko, Covalent, DAS, Lay2, Mousebelt Engineering, and MXC. MXC (Matcha Exchange) will select projects with investment potential from the Hackathon participants and potentially list them on the Matcha Exchange in the future.
